The Wolves will square off against West Division foes in their next 12 games before wrapping up the regular-season against Grand Rapids on April 10; Chicago sits atop the West Division with 90 points through 67 games (42-19-1-5) and holds a four-point advantage on second-place Rockford, which has played four more games.

WOLVES HEADLINES


--- Peter Mannino: Thwarted 23 of Houston's 24 shots in regulation and overtime and turned aside three of four attempts in the shootout to extend his career-high winning streak to 14 games, which is the second longest streak in franchise history ... Ranks second in the AHL with a .927 save percentage and fourth in the league with a 2.09 goals-against average in 29 outings this season (22-3-0); his 22 wins are tied for eighth in the league

--- Tim Stapleton: Tallied Chicago's lone goal in regulation and converted in the shootout on Saturday ... The marker was his first in seven outings ... Ranks second on the team and shares ninth in the AHL with 26 goals and ranks third on the Wolves with 28 assists and 54 points in 67 games this year ... Is the only Wolves player to have appeared in all 67 matchups this season

--- Jason Krog:
Dished out an assist on Saturday and has bagged five assists and six points in his last six matchups ... Ranks first on the Wolves and shares first in the AHL with 54 assists and paces the team and ranks fifth in the league with 67 points in 65 matchups this year ... Paces team forwards and shares 12th in the league with a +23 plus/minus rating ... Tallied at least one point in 43 of his 65 contests this season, which includes 18 multiple-point outings

--- Spencer Machacek:
Saw his season-high six-game point streak snapped on Friday ... He posted six assists and nine points during that span from Feb. 27 to March 7 ... Ranks fourth on the team with 17 goals and sixth with 41 points in 66 games this season ... His 24 assists share fourth on the team and are one shy of matching his assist total from 77 games last year

--- Joey Crabb: Pocketed his 22nd assist on the season on Saturday and has posted three points (G, 2A) in his last five contests ... Ranks third on the Wolves with a career-high 21 goals and shares fourth on the team with a career-most 43 points in 66 games this season

WOLF TRACKS


--- Chicago's loss on Friday was its first regulation defeat on home ice since Dec. 27, a span of 17 home matchups (15-1-0-1); the Wolves 16-game point streak on home ice was the second longest in the AHL this season; the team has notched a 25-7-0-2 record on home ice overall this season, outscoring opponents, 120-78, along the way.

--- Chicago was not whistled for a penalty in its game against Houston on Saturday - the second time in franchise history the club was not assessed an infraction in a contest.

--- The Wolves have potted 227 goals through 67 games this season, one more than they scored in 80 games last year; Chicago ranks third in the AHL with an average of 3.39 goals per game this season, which includes notching four or more markers in a contest 30 times.

--- The Wolves have held opponents without a power-play goal in five of the last six games and have been perfect on the penalty kill 33 times in 67 games this season (21-9-0-3); the Wolves rank seventh in the league with an 84.7 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (216 of 255).

--- Chicago has been held scoreless on the power play in a season-high six straight games (zero for 12); the Wolves share 14th in the AHL with an 18.0 efficiency rating on the power-play (49 of 272).

--- The Wolves rallied in the third period to send a 1-1 game to a shootout and defeat the Houston Aeros, 2-1, at the Allstate Arena
--- Right wing Tim Stapleton tallied in regulation and the shootout, while forwards Andrew Kozek and Matt Anderson also scored in the shootout
--- Goaltender Peter Mannino posted 23 saves in regulation and overtime and stopped three of four attempts in the shootout

--- The Wolves surrendered three second-period goals and couldn't crack the scoreboard on the way to a 3-0 loss to the Toronto Marlies at the Allstate Arena
