LEADERS OF THE PACK

The Wolves notched a .846 winning percentage (10-1-1-1) during the month of February to vault into first place of the West Division; Chicago - which has accrued 81 points through 61 games (38-18-1-4) this season - has already matched its point total from all of last year.

WOLVES HEADLINES


--- Paul Postma: Collected four points (G, 3A) in three games this week, which includes dishing out a career-high three assists on Sunday ... Leads Wolves blueliners with 10 goals and shares third among team defenseman with 21 points in 44 games during his professional debut this season ... Tallied 15 points (7G, 8A) in his last 18 games, after accruing six points (3G, 3A) in his previous 26 outings

--- Jamie Hunt:
Potted a goal in all three games this week to extend his point streak to six games, which is a career-best; he has racked up six goals and eight points during that span, which more than doubles his point total from his previous 20 contests this season (5A) ... Ranks fourth among team blueliners with a career-most six goals and has amassed 13 points in 26 games this season

--- Spencer Machacek: Recorded three points (2G, A) in three games this week, which includes netting his fourth two-goal game of the season on Sunday ... Ranks fourth on the team with 16 goals and sixth with 35 points in 60 games this season ... Posted four goals in his last five games after potting four markers in his previous 13 outings

--- Ivan Vishnevskiy: Tallied his first goal as a member of the Wolves on Friday and has registered a point in seven of his 10 outings with Chicago since joining the team on Feb. 9 ... Ranks second among team defenseman with nine goals and paces team rearguards with 22 assists and 31 points - 24 (8G, 16A) of which came in 51 outings with the Texas Stars ... Pocketed four points (G, 3A) during a four-game point streak from Feb. 20 to Feb. 27, which matches a professional career-high

WOLF TRACKS


--- The Wolves outscored their opponents, 54-32, in 13 outings during the month of February, which includes collecting four or more tallies in a game in eight of those matchups; Chicago is scoring an average of 3.46 goals per game this season, which ranks second in the AHL.

--- Center Johnny Pohl matched a season-high three assists on Saturday; he has notched seven assists and eight points in his last seven games since returning to the lineup after missing eight games due to injury.

--- Goaltender Peter Mannino turned aside 25 of Rockford's 27 shots on Sunday to pick up his 11th consecutive victory; the 26-year-old netminder ranks third in the AHL with a .928 save percentage and fourth with a 2.11 goals-against average in 26 matchups this season (19-3-0).

--- The Wolves have pocketed a power-play marker in five consecutive contests (five of 26) and have bagged a man-advantage marker in 11 of their last 14 tilts overall; Chicago ranks 13th in the AHL with a 18.8 efficiency rating on the power-play (49 of 260).

--- Chicago has surrendered a power-play goal in a season-high six straight outings (17 of 24); the Wolves share eighth in the league with an 84.4 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (205 of 243).

SHAM-ROCK AND ROLL

--- For the 14th straight season, the Wolves will wear special St. Patrick's Day jerseys, sponsored by Jewel-Osco, at home games on Sun., March 7; Fri., March 12; and Sat., March 13. Fans can bid on the green jerseys worn by their favorite players in a silent auction, with the exception of four, which will be available in a raffle. Proceeds will benefit Easter Seals. --- Right wing Anthony Stewart scored with 36 seconds remaining in the second period to break a 2-2 tie and goaltender Peter Mannino shut the door the rest of the way to give Chicago a 4-2 victory over the Rockford IceHogs before 11,329 fans at the Allstate Arena
--- Right wing Spencer Machacek (2G) and defenseman Jamie Hunt also scored
--- MANNINO posted 25 saves in 11th consecutive victory

Sat., Feb. 27
(at) Milwaukee 7, Chicago 6 (OT)
--- Chicago tied the game with seven seconds remaining in regulation but dropped a 7-6 overtime decision to the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center
--- Center Johnny Pohl (3A) and defenseman Brian Sipotz (2A) posted multiple-points while six different Wolves lit the lamp
--- Goaltenders Peter Mannino (six of 10) and Drew MacIntyre (19 of 22) split time between the pipes

--- Chicago saw a 2-0 second-period lead slip away on the way to losing 3-2 to the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena
--- Defensemen Jamie Hunt and Ivan Vishnevskiy scored for the Wolves
--- Goaltender Drew MacIntyre posted 24 saves on 27 shots
